I am a bilingual Licensed Mental Health Counselor, originally from Colombia, providing therapy in both English and Spanish in Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, and throughout Florida via telehealth. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I specialize in helping individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, codependency, addiction, life transitions, and relationship challenges.
I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based approach that can help individuals process painful or overwhelming experiences and reduce the emotional impact those experiences continue to have in the present. I am also trained in Imago Relationship Therapy and work with individuals and couples to better understand relationship patterns, improve communication, heal emotional wounds, and create healthier, more connected relationships.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs. In addition to EMDR and Imago Relationship Therapy, I have extensive training in psychodrama and experiential therapy and incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed skills, and mindfulness into my work. My clinical experience includes working with individuals, couples, families, and groups.
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported while working toward meaningful change. My goal is to help you heal from experiences and patterns that may be keeping you stuck, reconnect with yourself, recognize your strengths, and move forward with greater confidence, clarity, and emotional well-being.
I am also a Qualified Supervisor for Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns.
